Ohh. Well, what do you want from me??
Flatbills can't be trusted.

Me neither probably. Depends on what kind of flat bill.
Call him a cab? Or at least advise him to call a cab?

"If you give your hat's bill a slight curve and remove the stickers, I'll take you to the nearest gas station.
No talking."

I see that kid that was all burned up at UK games now and again.

It's unfortunate, but at the same time I hate how it's been made into a power play to keep the state under lock and key of organizations like MADD and others who think eliminating access to alcohol all together is the solution.
The good that came from it was the redesign of buses here. Specifically of their fuel tanks.

I was in middle school in Louisville at the time. I still remember being shocked at the number of deaths.

I'm glad to hear they addressed that design flaw. Too bad this is what I took to discover it.

You talking about Harold Dennis? He's a motivational speaker now, and played under Curry I think.

Yes, just could not remember his name when I typed it
BTW, UK just went ahead 4-3 against IU in the bottom of the 7th
They are now in the bottom of the 8th
UK really needs this win as IU is #15 right now

I think you are right ... and I remember that accident like it was yesterday.
Guy had a previous DUI arrests if I remember correctly. I remember they kept using his first, middle and last name in the reports like they do for Presidential assassins and mass murderers.
That wreck changed a lot of things when it comes to school bus safety too ... like lighted exit paths and no more gasoline powered buses - they are all diesel now if I am not mistaken. The material in the seats were changed as well, to non-flammable materials.
I saw a report on the DUI driver last night that claimed he turned-down an early parole for good behavior and served-out his term as a self-imposed punishment. That he completely changed his life and lives not far from the wreck site now where he regularly goes to place flowers and things at the crash site.

It's not that hard to get a ride or call a taxi or walk home.
No excuse for it, and I never drive drunk, but it's not always that easy.
I live 30 minutes outside of the city. Getting a taxi, walking, or even getting a ride can be difficult and/or expensive.
That said, I always crash at a friend's house or find a cheap hotel room. There's a ton of alternatives to putting yourself and others in danger.

Key thing is plan ahead. face it, most of the time someone gets drunk, they knew beforehand it could happen. all the excuses about leaving cars behind, blah, blah, could have been prevented with that persons forethought, just as they were thinking beforehand of drinking.

Girls in general don't drive drunk and are actually OK with being a DD. Good luck finding a bro who wants to drive after a marathon of drinking or who will come pick you up.

frick being a DD. I've never been one. I've always called a taxi, or lived close enough to the bar to walk home.
