The past couple weeks everybody has been dunking the pockets on everybodys shirts and the dumbass of the crew dunked a supervisors pocket and it tore and I'm certain he has been fired and everybody else was sent home and told to call next week to find out if they are coming back. I'm glad that I had no part in it and was actually at the opposite end of the warehouse when it happened today and knew nothing about it so I was spared but bossman is ruthless and will not tolerate bullshite.
So if none of them come back that pretty much makes me the lead man on the crew.

My insurance rates will not go up this year for medical, vision, or dental.

Job pays well, hours kind of suck but this position isn't permanent. Only 5-6 more months and then I move to different department and have normal working hours.

You're coworkers are idiots but that doesn't seem like a safety issue or anything, so why the harsh punishment? Have they been warned before or is the bossman just mad that he had to look like a goob with a torn shirt pocket all day?

It wasn't bossman that had his shirt tore, it was a supervisor of another department.
He is just strict but I can see where he would be angry about horseplay in an environment that is already dangerous.
