The Federalist also repeatedly contacted @ConcernedStudent1950, the Twitter account representing Mizzou protesters who issued a series of demands of university administrators after the alleged poop swastika incident made headlines. The individuals running the @CS1950 account failed to produce any photographic or documentary evidence of the incident prior to publication of this article.
While a mere absence of evidence is not synonymous with evidence of absence, the complete lack of any verifiable photographic evidence of the alleged poop swastika and the lack of any named eye witnesses raises serious questions about the veracity of a racially charged incident of vandalism that eventually led to the resignation of the University of Missouri’s two top administrators.

This. And it's a nationwide organized effort they're trying to bring to all schools so prepare for more. They're already calling for the resignation of the president of Ithaca college as of today.

Maybe universities should take pre-emptive action. Shut down everything on campus except the classes. No job fairs, no recreation centers, no student groups. Just classrooms and the library. And, put police on every floor of the library and at every building that has classrooms. Then we'll see how things go. Have to make these places a safe space. Well, a boring, regimented schedule with police everywhere should be rather safe.

I feel the need to point out, Mizzou is 7% black. So, let's say Mizzou has 35,000 students, of those 2,450 would be black. Of that, how many do you think are involved in this protest stuff? Maybe 10%? so 245 students, not even the size of a Greek organization at Mizzou. (For comparison, more than 1,700 girls went through sorority rush in 2013, couldn't find figures for this year in a quick search.)
So please, don't lump all Missourians, or all Mizzou students, into the "same crowd." This turmoil is being fomented by likely less than 1% of Mizzou's student population. They are just vocal and organized. They were probably mostly ignored until it blew up.

Blocking the photographer was very suspect.
It's nice to see people critically thinking about this, and going out and a limb by connecting dots and listening to their 'gut'.

it's a pretty irrelevant point, it doesn't matter as long as the entire hoax is based on lies, if it's being made by 1 person or 1 million people, it's still a lie.

isn't it a pretty sad testament to MU journalism that about the only person documenting this fiasco of lies is Clay Travis?

at this point in time a guy w/ a law degree for Tennessee is making the entirety of the MU Journalism school alums look like a bunch of lightweights.
