The day I found out my wife had a brain tumor. Thank god it was benign, but at that time ::shudder::

That would be life altering for sure.

Having to tell my mother that my brother was murdered. I was 20 & he was buried on his 25th birthday.

Holy Crap! Any long term affects?

Losing my little brother (24 at the time) and seeing what my parents went through afterward. It is hands down the worst thing to ever happen to me.

My difficult moments pale in comparison to this. May God bless you for your service.

I can only imagine. Parents should not have to bury their children.

Older brother died of a pulmonary embolism. It led to my parents divorcing and living in misery.

I guess the day I found out I was diabetic may be the worst moment. Went into the emergency room pretty much dead. Had a 900 blood sugar. Slipped into a coma for two weeks. Being in a coma is one of the weirdest feelings in the world. And I felt like total shite when I came out of it.

Congrats to you on turning your life around man.

Mine would have to be coming home seeing my dad high off Xanax and near suicidal while my mom was working her arse off to raise 4 kids. Man, I love my momma.

Dad went to rehab and everything's great now, btw.

Here on the other side of it, I can see it's only by the grace of God that I'm still here.

I'd say it's more of your wife not caring that you're a scumbag, but whatever.
