Im a straight pacifist towards animals unless its an animal that can and intends to kill me first (im very unlikely to ever meet such an animal) or if its for food consumption. Im fine with hunting as long as you eat the animal.

But humans are a different story. I guess I draw the line because animals dont know any better.

Humans at least should. frick people and I feel no sympathy for most sick fricks.

Call me cruel if you want. I probably am. Dont care.

I'm not sure I follow you.

Are you angry over humanity's cruelty and violence against itself?

That's what I'm getting from your post.

He is saying it isn't ok to kill an animal unless it is in self defense or if you killed it for food. He said killing humans for whatever the reason is ok. frick him.

There are only two species that commit murder, humans and common chimps. Bonobo chimps are not included because, strangely, they are one of the most pascifist of animals. They make love, not war, to settle their differences.

I understand your revulsion for psychopathic humans. Psychopaths make up only 1-4% (estimates vary) but their effects on society are extremely disproportionate to their numbers.

The oddest thing I've encountered while studying psychopathy is that it seems some people might be "wired psychopaths" but never act on this innate characteristic. Their antisocial behavior apparently needs a trigger of some sort. There are, of course, some, and it may be most, psychopaths who are destined from birth to be troublemakers.

You're ignorant for thinking humans are animals. Humans aren't animals and animals aren't humans.

I'm sure you meant to say, "All humans are animals but not all animals are humans."

This is just wrong. The animal kingdom is brutal. Ants have armies of slaves. Male lions/tigers etc will kill baby males to protect their dominance. Praying Mantis females kill the males after mating. Animals kill other animals all the damn time. Those are just a few examples. Haven't you seen planet earth?

Google: "animals that kill for fun." There are many instances of animals killing other animals, for no other reason than that they can.
The cat family has got to be the most sadistic killers in the animal world. The weasel family is close behind. All of the toothed-whale species kill for sport.

Murder is killing with malice aforethought. Nothing you have listed is apart from instinct.

Certainly there are animals that kill other animals. The difference is that humans and common chimps kill within their own species for reasons other than survival or to advance their own lineage, which is instinctual. Murder, of course, is extremely common within the human spacies.

Are you saying chimps have the capacity to be evil?

Murder, of course is extremely common in the human species

No disagreements here.

Evil is a moralistic, even religious term that seems out of place in describing the natural world where there is only good or bad. Good if an action promotes an animal’s or plant’s welfare and bad if it does harm.

Of course, we as a species want to define nature with anthropomorphic terms and a lot of us use religion as a brush to paint a world we can readily identify with. From that perspective then, we have to include some traits of our closest animal relatives (98% of our genes are identical) when nonscientifically defining our comparison to common chimps.

So yes, in the layman’s vernacular common chimps have the capacity to be evil. They’re that close to us.

What about the cetaceans? Many scientists think their intelligence surpasses that of chimps; do you think they have the capacity for evil?

This is a beautifully incoherent post. I love it. Are drugs or alcohol involved?

I'm wondering what could have happened in the OP's life that could lead him to conclude that animal's lives > human life.
