most colleges (especially huge state universities) have dated buildings that need to be torn down

UVA at 21 is highly questionable.

ETA: Been to a lot of those. Bad list.

You pretty much pay to be on the SL list, but all list are going to be subjective

Call me a typical 'delusional' LSU fan, but how does LSU not make a list like this? Banks of the Mississippi River Amazing HUGE oaks and magnolias throughout campus Rich in History The Lakes that surround campus (Frats/Sorority Homes Border Them) Incredible Athletic facilities Seems odd to consider schools like OM/Georgie/Tulane but not LSU.

What a delusional LSU cuck.

How does LSU not make the list? Your campus doesn't have grass. Literally walking on dirt.

Some of those aren't what I would consider south.

Pretty crummy list. Some of them aren't what I consider "The South". Furthermore, off the top of my head, I would have included LSU, William & Mary, Washington & Lee, and UNC. I've got to think one of the South Carolina schools (College of Charleston, The Citadel, Furman, or Wofford) has a great campus as well.

LSU's quad alone should get it on the list - let alone the Spanish architecture.

Okie State has a relatively pretty campus, but it's a litte too "matchy-matchy".

It needs some variety. Also Stillwater is a windswept wasteland.

How is the Univ. of Arkansas campus? What about College of the Ozarks?

Ever been to Baton Rogue? It's like a demilitarized zone. You'd be safer walking through an Afghan Village shouting that you are an entitled America, you hate the Arab world and frick Allah..

No doubt. My mom went to Bama and South Alabama, and was raised in Spring Hill. My grandmother and grandfather (Manhattan Yankee) went to Spring Hill.

I was raised in Spring Hill, in Ravine Woods. Great area of Mobile. LOTS of Yankees go to Spring Hill

It's flat but a wasteland it isn't. There is a lot of industry and money around Stillwater. Some of the small communities around there are some of the nicest in the state. I always think of Green Acres or Pettycoat Junction whenever I go through Stillwater. Another town that gets a lot of shite talk from people who have never been there.
