Either Collierville or Germantown to be exact. Not the hood by any means.

anyways, anyone live in either area and know of some nice apartments/condos? I might as well start looking.

My parents live in Collierville. I grew up there. Went K-12 for school. If you need to know anything about the area just ask. Collierville is very safe.
Germantown are snotty little F@GS. Rich they are NOT!
Midtown is a great part. I lived there briefly after highschool. Realistically safe in most parts. Slope or Rebelgator would know more on that, but for Germantown or Collierville just ask.

Both of these are good options if you're looking to start a family, but there is not much nightlife. Collierville has excellent public schools, but right now the entire school system is a clusterfrick since Memphis City Schools gave up its charter, but still wants to control the entire district. Also, parts of Memphis are really not bad. Central Gardens and the Evergreen district are nice areas of midtown, downtown has some really nice places, and East Memphis has a lot of young couples buying their first homes.

definitely on the right track, in this case the eastest is the safest.. i remember when i could actually stay in hotels on brooks road and feel safe,,, but, that was 25 years and many bullets fired ago.

I live just outside of Collierville in Collierville Reserve.
