What scam calls have you received?
I have received 2 recently.
1) A guy named Kevin Mason said to be representing US Treasury stating some sort of failure on my part to pay taxes. Claimed if i did not respond back i would be facing federal charges. Called from Brewster, NY. Here is a link below to this scam.
LINK
2) A Nigerian sounding lady calling to talk to me about my computer being infected. Was trying to get me to give her some info. I knew it was a scam, but i asked for the company she worked for her and her employee number to see what she would do. She tried 1 more time to get me to do something for her, then hung up.

Seen this one before. Tried to get me to go into terminal and tell him certain numbers or code in there or something. I knew it was a scam immediately but just kept saying "yup, yup, what do I type? Ok next" while I was watching Tv. Got a solid 5 minutes out of it.

Me, too. They go straight to block if no message is left.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. But I got hit by the IRS scam. I ignored it.

My job means I get a lot of calls on my phone daily from different area codes SO I don't have the luxury of just blocking any unknown number. If I have wits about me I'll try to get some fun out of it but 99% of the time I just hang up.

I don't block numbers I don't recognize, but I don't answer if I don't recognize it and definitely don't call back if they don't leave a message.

If I accidentally answer a restricted number and they start in, I say hang on let me get the head of household then lay the phone down and about 15 minutes later hang it up.

Yea i dont even have a house phone. I use my cell phone which is also my work phone. I have to answer my work phone because lots of numbers call me.

Same here. Several of my customers moved here from out of state and can't remember their area codes, so if I don't answer, I may miss their calls.

I tend to practice use of racial epithets with the Nigerians. entertainment value usually ensues.

No lie, I get a call almost weekly from all over the US, different number each time, telling me I requested information about penis enlargement pills. I have to answer because of work as I get several unknown calls a day...
