The problem with all of these lists – including the one CS would have created – is that although they might have some good information, they are misleading. There are too many variables (campus size, location, number of students, culture, etc.) for the comparisons to be fair or accurate. Colleges that are on these lists probably just have really good marketing and PR departments.

Please, Baby Jesus, let the college football season get here.

Not ironic that this thread is started by a Mizzou follower on whose campus both your physical and psychological safety are at risk.

Leave it to the Mizzou fan to look for safe spaces

Had to laugh as Nicholls State is shown with the sword through the N. That is how the campus is kept safe

I zoomed in and I still can't tell which school they picked for Arkansas.

Or it’s West Lafayette.
What’s dangerous about West Lafayette? And their students.
All nerds

Yeah it's not an exciting place. Campus is a bunch of brick buildings. And it's the non party school, losers

Well we knew it wasn't going to be UAt for Alabama, their students aren't even safe from being mugged and hospitalized by their own schools football players

You ever been there? It's most dreary/ depressing place I've ever been. The students are in danger from self-harm from having to live there

Arkansas Tech is a salt-of-the-earth type place. If I had family members who couldn't get into Arkansas, I'd be fine with them going there. It'd probably be my first choice for another in-state school, honestly. That said, I can't really speak to Arkansas State because I've set foot in Jonesboro, Arkansas exactly one time in my life, 20 years ago. It might as well be in Kentucky.

Committing suicide doesn’t seem dangerous at all.
It’s yourself not others

I like Tech but I think after a visit to Jonesboro and a-state that would be my backup in state school. Jonesboro has some decent bars and actual college culture. Russellville not so much. Jonesboro actually reminded me of Starkville in some ways
