Which SEC schools do not use a plus/minus GPA scale?
As in A=4.00 A-=3.67 B+=3.33 etc.
As opposed to a straight system: A=4 B=3 C=2?
According to this article written in 2011

it claims the only SEC schools that did not use +/- system are:
However, I am pretty sure that Arkansas still uses the straight system also, and I heard that LSU is considering changing to +/-. have they made the change yet?
What about Mizzo and aTm?

Now, Auburn, Louisiana State University and Mississippi State are the only remaining schools in the SEC that do not use a plus/minus scale.

Some ole miss classes do, some don't. It's weird, I think it's up to the teacher in the business school

LSU uses straight system and I hope it stays that way.

Ours is straight 4.0, 3.0, 2.0 etc. We're also known to be one of the toughest schools to earn an A in the country.

Some schools require it for all classes. Some let the teachers decide. I don't think I had a single class where it was used.

When I was at Tennessee, there was no A-, but everything else was on a +/- scale. A- was put in place I think the academic year after I left.

straight 4.0, 3.0, etc scale here.
it helped more often than not because most of my teachers took 88 averages and just made them 4.0. rarely hurt me.

I dont think a plus/minus system would be bad if you didn't punish the A students. IMO id make all the A's 4.0 then the rest could be plus minus.

Just finished up in the summer and I remember reading something concerning this. Think we are changing to a plus/minus scale. I could be wrong

All of my classes have used it since last year. I don't mind it.

Look it up. A report came out not too long ago putting AU in the top 25 of difficulty iirc.

Didn't they implement all minuses at once. I thought it went A, B+, B, C+, C, D, F before 2010?

At Kentucky undergrad is a straight system. Most of the grad schools use +/- scales.
