The first holdup happened at 1:48 p.m. Monday at Regions in Wildwood. Homewood police Sgt. John Carr said the suspect walked into the bank, approached a teller and indicated it was a robbery. The teller did not comply with his demands and the suspect fled the bank.
The suspect did not brandish a weapon in either robbery, and no one was injured. The SouthPoint Bank robber fled in a white Chevrolet truck. Homewood police said their suspect was driving a silver or grey SUV, possibly an Acura.
Gardendale and Homewood said the suspect is a white male, 6-feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He is in his 60s and was wearing an Alabama baseball cap. He also has a distinctive salt and pepper mustache.
Homewood police are working with the FBI on their case, and also are in communication with Gardendale police. Anyone with information on either crime is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

They should have dye-packed some small bills just to frick with him. You know he isn't smart enough to even know what that is and probably would have tried to spend the money anyway lol. Could have gotten him with bank robbery instead of attempted.
