Smoking a cigar on the balcony. First time today I saw pictures of my moms house. Looks about 4 feet of water at the high marks outside.
On a positive note the outdoor furniture seems to have survived

I almost ran into a kid today. Or rather he ran into my car. I was driving down a 2 lane road (with wider than avg lanes). It was near a community so there was a nice sidewalk on the side. There was this stupid kid 11-13 range wearing some sort of punk grunge clothes riding a long board. He cut across from the far lane down directly towards my car not looking up just playing on his phone with his head phones on. I tapped the breaks and honked my horn and he slowly looked up and just give me this i dont give a frick look then looked back down at his phone. If i wouldnt have hit my breaks i would have ran that kid the frick over. I dont get people some times. I watch nature shows and see terrible things happen to young animals and yet this dumb frick gets to live bc i would get charged with some sort of negligence driving.
