So watching Chopped is a no-no but dance skills that get me offers to be in movies are not... not sure I've read this male manual. Both of the above have been deal sealers in the past for me... I'm pretty sure they've gotten me double miles on my man card actually.

And you're calling me out for not putting bacon on everything I consume. At least I eat the real thing.

Define overcooking... I like my bacon crispy (not burnt). I hate chewy bacon... I'd rather not eat.

Burnt is brown with no red at all.

It's really a difficult balance. Frying bacon isn't the easiest thing to do. To me, correctly cooked bacon is crispy on the exterior, but retains some of the redness, and has a bit softer interior.

I'll see if I can link that post. It had a great pic of the comparison of over cooked to perfect bacon.

Upon further review.........your exploits have been determined to be safely within the bounds of masculinity. Enjoy the double miles

Pasta and all.

I want to get a pasta roller for my KitchenAid mixer. They cost like $150 though.

What up Rig - I'm about to heat up some wings and a grilled Hamburger. I'm hungry as a hostage tonight.

Heat me one up while you're at it bro. I'm hungry and the apartment pantry is bare.

This is why I need a woman.

I had a hand crank one but I didn't use it forever and it rusted. I have to go get another. And yeah, I've thought about that attachment too. Might ask for that for my birthday when people are bugging the frick out of me over what I want and I have no clue.

I got a whole pan of them. I don't need a woman to cook for me.

BTW- I'm cooking a meatball stew with mac&cheese tomorrow. I will be fat and happy tomorrow night.

I can cook but I'm too lazy when there's a thousand food options down the street

I agree it's a delicate balance. I'll admit though that if I had to have bacon not cooked perfectly, I'd prefer it to end up on the burnt side. Undercooked bacon is just awful. The consistency of the fat is just unpleasant. If you have a bacon press it's a hell of a lot easier, but let's be honest... not many people our side of 60 have them in their homes anymore.
