If the rankings were done on basis of turning out redneck politicians, then Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee would be 1,2,3.

The lawyers themselves don't really make those decisions the people of Alabama do...

A&M's law school is like 4 years old and is already ahead of USCe and Arkansas.

We're gonna try to sue you for this statement.

How many Tulane students take the LA bar? When I took the TN bar there were only like ten Vandy students who took it. The best students at schools like that are going to big law jobs in major cities.

Everyone sues Aggie grads what can I say? You attract a lot of teaching talent because there is a high demand for people to represent your graduates.

Considering the Arkansas law department is fairly tiny I'll cheerfully take our ranking.

I don't buy that

I don’t either there’s a lot more to it than the schooling. Like the Bar exam. I know Alabama is a good one but not superior to everyone else in the SEC. Alabama has one of the easiest bars in the country.

I haven't looked at ATL in years. What happened to the comment section? Watching the commentators rip Elie was always the highlight of an ATL article.

Ga State is good too. I think what hurts it is no one wants to attend law school in downtown Atlanta.

Alabama has the exact same bar exam as 70% of the country. States set their own passing score and Alabama is tied for lowest (260 out of 400) with Missouri, Minnesota, New Mexico and North Dakota. Alaska is highest at 280.

These polls don't factor in ability to bullshite. Be careful going up against an Arkansas lawyer, they bullshite hard, and it tends to work.
