So sorry to hear that. I knew her IRL and she was always a sweetheart. sad to see she's gone

I'm seriously broken up about this. When I talked to her on Saturday, I jokingly told her that she wasn't allowed to watch the Tennessee game because she was bad luck. It was something we've joked about with each other for the last 3 years. We've talked every weekend of every football season.
This really hurts. I'm gonna miss her.

Yea this hurts pretty bad. It's weird seeing a friend go. Many great tailgates with her, many early mornings heading to LSU. She even baby sat honeybadger one night for me when I got drunk in Nola.

Maybe it's the anonymity of places like this, but it's so easy to forget there are real folks behind the colorful avis/sigs, and the shite talking about sports and politics.
Most of us use places like this as an escape from "real life," as it were. Just drives home for me that life is so short, and you never know how even your online interactions can and do affect so many folks.
frick, man, she was one of the first ones to welcome me into an IM thread. Just hurts to know she's no longer among us, and it's not temporary like a ban or getting busy with life. Just damn, man. Wish I'd gotten to meet her irl and buy her that beer I'd promised her whenever she came to an Aggie game or the Riverwalk.

I have seen a few deaths on td but this is the first one that has really rocked me. I was sad to see Bowden pass away.

I mentioned in a few threads above yours that I am not ashamed to admit that I have cried over her death. She was a great lady..a firecracker that was never afraid to say exactly what she thought, could have you laughing your arse off, and was also welcoming to newcomers to tBoards she posted on...which we all know is a rare trait to have.
It won't be the same without her, that is for sure.
