Is there anyone that was more perfectly placed to match a character than Dan Castellaneta as Homer? Even stuff he says in the older episodes that aren't funny are made hilarious by that voice.

Runner up - Matt Stone - "Butters" South Park

A lot of the simpsons get honorable mentions (Mr. Burns, Chief Wiggum)

Any favorites?

i'm a big fan of voice work.

Spader as Ultron was nails
Robin Williams as Genie
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen in Toy Story
Will Farrell in Megamind (super underrated)
JEJ as Vader
Mark Hamill as Joker (crazy that the dude had no acting career after RotJ, but has probably made millions for his work as Joker)

Body of work that's amazing:

Jim Cummings
H. Jon Benjamin
Ashley Johnson
Nolan North
Seth McFarlane
John Dimaggio

How about Mel Blanc and his work as just about every voice from Looney Tunes, Barney Rubble, and others.
