If that's real, the representative is a disgrace to his office and the people who elected him. Surely the constituents will make a better choice next time.
The people who elected the man are majority black and low income families that feel like "white people" owe them something. This will be applauded in that community.

I've lived in Alabama for 7 years and I see racism everyday.

It's pretty hard to avoid racism. Public gonna public.

There is racism on both sides all across the country. Just because the Government mandated that we integrate everything doesn't mean racism went away. In fact it probably made it worse

I just think the culture here nurtures it. That's why I find it funny when I talk to black girls

Bull shite. I am one of 5 white people in a department that has forty employees. I hear shite all the time about white people, vanilla people, white chocolate people. But if I ever say anything about those terms, I am told I'm over reacting. But if I ever called them chocolate people, I'd be fired on the spot.

Bham City Council Comments on Barber Motor Funding
So...... We aren't going to fund an economically positive event because the people making the decision are white. Awesome.
quote:
Councilman Steven Hoyt questioned why a majority black city should continue to give money to the event run at the Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds.
"I've seen nobody, nobody who looks like me make any decisions with Barber sports. None. Zero," Hoyt said.

Par for the course. Had that been a white representative then they would have called a special hearing to have his arse fired.
It would be the lead story on every news channel for weeks nationwide. There would be unbelievable protests led by JJ.
I'm gonna be pissed if the dude is not in hot water and forced out of the legislature soon. I think he should actually be brought up on some sort of criminal charges considering his position and threats of violence with incredibly blatant overt racial accusations, name calling and threats.

This is just one example, I'm not going to list every example of racism I have to put up with to please your misspelling arse.
