Round up a half dozen crab spiders (not hard this time of year), and put them in her hair after she's gone to sleep. They'll eat'em all by morning, and all you'll have to do is put'em back outside, and wash the spider shite out of you girl's hair.

If your 3 old catches you putting spiders in hair at night, that therapy bill is gonna be way more than a professional lice cleaning.

Don't forget the car seat.

omorrow, I’m washing everything. Thanks guys!
My kids have never had them, but they are boys with short hair, and my wife pours the gel to it when there is talk of lice.
But I had a buddy that went thru hell with em, and it turned out it was the car seat.

Set your home ablaze, that’ll handle em good. Real good.

My son has had them twice. Granted, he has shorter hair, so it's a little easier getting them out than a girl that may have long hair, but both times, we combed all the eggs(nits) out with a lice comb, then put Cetaphil in his hair and used a hot hair dryer to dry it. You have to use a lot. Completely cover the scalp/hair. That basically traps any living lice and suffocates them. They have to leave it in overnight and you can wash it out the next morning. Worked like a charm both times.
We also never had to wash/vacuum, etc. Lice need blood to survive, so if they leave the head, they'll die and they'll stay where their food is for the most part. Some may get out, but they'll usually stay on their pillow or wherever they've been laying their head. We just took pillow cases and sheets and put them in the dryer on the hottest setting for 20-30 minutes, which will kill any living lice.

Hope you got rid of them, they are damn hard to kill off. Also, due to reading this thread, my head is itchy..

My dad had a cure that always worked.
Just take the child out for a drive.
I miss my brother. Wherever he is now.

Yeah after another treatment last week and my wife getting them and getting treated, we are all clear for now, mattresses are cleaned and car seats. All clothes are washed and the carpets are vacuumed. All clear finally!!
