I have a geothermal unit that’s 14yrs old and this Spring has been a series of bandaids in an attempt to delay the massive costs of replacement....
It’s really not bad in my opinion. I’ve done a ton of AZ, NM, and UT hiking in late June and I’ve fared well. I’ve also provided aid to at least a dozen folks who were unprepared, including a handful of heat exhausted kids I found in Capital Reef - I always pack extra stuff in case I find people i...

How would you characterize the rain that did this? Normal, significant, or historic? Now imagine what it would look like if it was a genuine historic multi day rain event. Is the property also getting water from uphill properties? I could mitigate this with a few tactics, but I’m firmly in t...

Lifted in Vans for most of the last decade, but recently shifted to Puma and love them. ...
Few things to throw out there: -Escalante is a great small town to stay, grab a taco, or some groceries. -When you travel HWY12, spend some extra time in the mountains when it gets green and cool. The contrast between Escalante on one side and Capital Reef on the other is incredible because ...
When I did strict carnivore I had the same issue. TheMollusk posted solid advice on water during meals. For me, once I added just a bit of fruit back, everything was perfect. Literally one serving of watermelon was the key to balance gut with diet benefits. Years later, here’s what carnivore...

That’s great - my advice then is to let the coaches coach running, no extra volume for now. Focus on a few strength/injury prevention things at home. If you do Knees Over Toes she will completely prevent shin splints and knee issues by high school. Really recommend a Mobo board for foot strengt...
Just checked on Milesplit and a 6:18 puts her in the top 50 7th graders in AL (used AL seeing your Auburn logo). Has she officially joined JR High Cross Country yet? ...
As a parent of three distance runners, start focusing on injury prevention now. Really like Knees Over Toes Guy stuff and Mobo board for this. Add in some well rounded strength work twice a week or so (my distance runners all lift heavy)....
I started entertaining recruiter calls from a handful of companies and I always ask “At any point during the height of COVID, did your company require vaccination as a condition of employment?” The HR folks always get confused on why I ask, but a company with a history of over stepping…...
I’m on my third kid lifter, and the things that worked the best for us: Inchworms, Ring Rows, Loaded Carries, squats. For all loaded movements, I really like sandbags (minimal injury risk even if dropped on foot, simple to microload, cheap) and medballs....
