Daughter who is 3 recently started pre-school and now has head lice. Any ideas on how to get rid of the bastards. I’m tempted to take a blow torch to my house at this moment

We used vegetable oil and a shower cap.

Suggestions for lice?

Wash everything in the house.

Lice are among the few creatures that make my skin crawl just thinking about them. Others are bedbugs, ticks, fleas and mosquitoes. Yuck.

Do it ASAP. Also, nything that can't be washed, like stuffed animals, needs to be tied up in a trash bag for two weeks.

You forgot to use the words "cuck" and "beta" and forgot to reference fecal matter.

My girl came home with super lice last year. We tried the stuff from Walmart and also had to get something from the pharmacy. Make sure to comb out the knits (eggs) after the shampoo or they will be back.

You’re daughter is so nasty that she has lice? That’s pathetic. Imagine how disgusting she’ll be when she’s older. Probably fat and crack addicted.

Frick off.

its probably going to be a 2-3 week process.

Hopefully, nobody else in the household gets it.

You need to let the preschool know about the lice. There is another child at the school who has them and until all the kids are treated, the classroom is treated this issue will continue. Have to get rid of the source.

You need to be sure to treat anywhere in you house your daughter has been that they lice nits could have fallen off. Wash all bedding in hot water, take large items to laundry mat, spray carpet, bed, couches and etc with treatment, then VACUUM VACUUM VACUUM.

wait 2-3 days and retreat your daughter's hair again and spray bedding and furniture. Then treat again about week later. Continue to vacuum regularly.

It will be a week long process to insure you get rid of them..

Even if you do everything right at home if you do not get the source at school cleaned up then it will continue to be an issue.

My kids are all out of the house either in college or on their own. I remember those days of fighting the lice bug a few times and it was nasty ...

After the 2nd or third time within the first few months of school we had to get the school office involved with the parents of the source.

We Actually pulled our child out for a week while they dealt with the issue at the school.

Sucks big time.

Actually means she has clean hair. Lice die in dirty filthy conditions.

After incubating for seven to 10 days, the nits hatch and, after another 10 days, mature into adult head lice and the cycle begins again.

You have to re-treat 10 days after the first time. You have to catch the babies and kill them before they reach the adult stage and lay eggs again.

Their egg shells are pretty hardy and the poison wont kill them while still in the egg sacks.

Go frick yourself, bitch.

As for the lice, make sure you call the school. I remember my sister brought them home from school mulitple times because the mother of the source was so hysterically embarrassed she wouldn't even admit her kid had lice much less treat her.

That was really uncalled for. It wasn't funny if that was your attempt.

Apologies for the random idiocy OP.
