I'm the chocolate lover so we will def. check it out. Planning on going to Bristol Seafood Grill in the Power/Light District one night so that sounds like an after dinner stop.

Also this might be random but if y'all like go karts there's a good indoor place called Extreme Grand Prix in Raytown.
Did not know this, thanks TBird! The only one I knew of is over in beakerville which is what I linked OP to. I prefer to keep my dollars in Kansas City, Mo

Yeah, Extreme GP is pretty new (only a year old iirc), but the place is nice and the karts are fast. Wifey and I discovered the place for the first time a couple months ago and will definitely be going back (If I can convince Aggiebelle not to spend all our $$$ in Country Club Plaza first, of course

You're right on hitting up gates. Get the beef and a half...two of you can spilt one by getting extra bread. Order the fries extra crispy and dip them in the BBQ sauce.
If you like mexican food, you should definitely try Mi Ranchito. The best one is on 119th, but any will do. I recommend the cream cheese chicken enchiladas and espinaca dip.
The boulevard brewery used to be a great tour (not sure since AB bought them out and you having kids, but it's really cool and you get free beer. You'd better sign up in advance....used to be a waiting list.
Memorial Park is really cool and would be great for kids.
Oh yea. The plaza and Oklahoma joes. A Bryant's....meh.

No kids but we were gonna try to check the WW1 museum out and go up the tower.
Thanks for the response.

Take her to Zona Rosa. I could spend all day and all of my money shopping there.

It's one of my favorite places to spend money, but rarely make it up that far north these days. Now I'm more likely to be closer to Independence Center, or over in Ottawa, KS, which has no redeeming qualities.

Agreed. Most of the good stuff is on the Mo side besides the Legends

That's right, I thought I'd seen you in some Springfield/SWMO related threads. I love Southwest MO/Springfield...my favorite part of Missouri

Everything's pretty much been recommended. The only thing that matters is the BBQ. Eat it all.
And get the Z-man at Oklahoma Joes.

Now you're going to set Killz off on his spiel about how SW MO isn't really the meth capital of the universe.
I mean, I live here, too, so I think the reputation is a bit embellished, but apparently Killz is passionate about defending this fair city.

Missouri isn't in the top 10 of meth consumption based upon drug testing results nationwide. We do make a lot of meth busts.
Looks like we have entrepreneurs.
