Savannah is a great city. The food is fantastic- I'd say it's the most underrated food city in the US. That being said, I like Charleston better. Savannah has some not-so-nice areas and it can look really overgrown and junky in places

I prefer bigger cities. My top two are New Orleans and Nashville. New Orleans has more negatives, but for me the positives make up for it. If Nashville were closer to the ocean it might give NOLA a run for its money for the top spot.
Charleston, then Savannah are probably my two favorites under a million people.

No culture for one. Dirty, bad demogrpahics. Need I go on? You certainly cant be under the impression that it belongs in the discussion about the most awesome cities in the south. Shite, Orlando isnt even in the top three in its respective state.

Yeah. "real" Orlando (the non-Disney/Universal areas) seemed nothing more than Birmingham to me.

Since I cannot vote for Charleston, which should be the winner hands-down, then I'd have to go with St Augustine and Savannah. Tybee Island is pretty sweet. Mt Dora is pretty sweet.

DFW has some very nice areas. It's kinda meh to visit (in terms of San Antonio), but I could see myself living there

Simply "having" things to do doesnt make a city awesome. Any big city has things to do, but they all have the same things to do. What makes a city awesome is having a wealth of things to do that cannot be done anywhere but that city.
