According to one study posted in October 2025, Baton Rouge is the third most dangerous city in the country. New Orleans is number one. Memphis is number two.

Are we including cities in SEC States or just college towns? If the former...Stone Mountain, Georgia(When my father lived there we literally saw a yard with a black dummie hanging with a few guys in white robes celebrating...was fricking insane how racist that town was...luckily most of the cities in Georgia are very nice places to live..I loved living in Rome Georgia. Was one of the nicest places I lived(We moved a ton, Father's work).

I am not piling on but since I live in this state and in the greater Baton Rouge area it’s not good here at all. Used to be the murders stayed north of campus now it’s in south east Baton Rouge and you are not even safe at the mall of Louisiana. It is seriously getting bad here.
