I saw this earlier and it made me wonder if taking the wheels off made a difference.
Now to be fair a modular home these days is nothing like the old ones. They can be built with a greater tolerance and quality than slabs.

Modular homes are becoming the dominant type of new home construction in many parts of the world. Quick to build, less expensive and using less wood, they’re the 21st century’s response to housing needs in developing areas.

Do you leave Christmas lights on your trailer all year long?

Modular is not a trailer. Modular is built inside and transported on a flat bed to the job site (no VIN #). Trailers have a VIN# and need to be registered with the DMV.

Viking founder Fred Carl just had a modular home built next to my lake house.
Definitely not a trailer and has a modern look but not sure if I like it over brick & mortar.
