That's the problem I had. There is just too much stupid shite. People who defend the format like to point out how all the posts that get upvotes get moved to the top, but that doesn't change the fact that there are 10 million subreddits, 9.99 million of which are completely useless.

OK, I watched the video. The guy is a bigoted piece of trash and should not be in a classroom. IMO.
Think however you want. But a teacher should know better than to say that kind of stuff to students. You can bet he's probably had kids in his class questioning their sexual orientation and trying to figure things out. This kind of talk has no place in education. And what happened to being respectful? Regardless of whether you like the President and his wife or not...be respectful.
ETA - it's not his opinions that are the problem, it's his lack of judgement in sharing them.

I think the entire concept of equality in this country is unbelievably flawed, but that is another discussion for another day. I could go on all day with that topic.

I'm not defending what the teacher said, I couldn't disagree with him more, im merely arguing that he has the right (although not really in school) to say it.
