So basically, Hole feeds his ego by having clingy girls pine for him. Coastie wanted to be able to say she had a boyfriend, and in her grief, thought that it would be nice to be comforted by her interstate lover. Being in a bit of a touch and go situation with his daughter, and probably having a natural inclination toward clingy girls (as demonstrated in this thread), Hole would like to keep Coastie hanging on. She got mad, and having a love for attention herself, tried to brag about fricking her ex, who, if it's the same ex that she fricked when Crimsonsaint was in the cross hairs, gets lots of come back action.
