How to deal with an email stalker?

I currently have a/couple of email stalkers. A couple of other posters on this site also experience massive amounts of email spam from this same person.
Anyway, I haven't responded and won't respond to the threats, but have saved every email.
Not sure what my next step should be, while I'm in no way afraid of this person whatsoever, this person is clearly mentally unstable and I don't take threats lightly.
The UGA fan who is sending these emails is almost certainly reading this thread.

Seriously, I'm sorry this is happening to you. I hope the perp wakes up to reality before he gets subjected to the legal consequences that can be effected against him.

I'm hesitant to block him, just because I think he's stupid enough to say something worthy of involving law enforcement.

I thought monteg was an A&M fan? And how'd they get your email address?
Just ignore them/set up a folder that it'll go to for future reference if the threats get to the point that you legitimately feel threatened. If you think they're going to legitimately do something to you, contact the police.
And next time, just create a throw away email account to share on message boards like this.

I do know his first and last name, what kind of legal consequences may he be facing? And how may I go about bringing these legal consequences to fruition?

That's what I did. I never see emails that might be going to the account for this and other forum sites. Maybe I should check. I do like V&S so I might be getting stalked by associating with the wrong crowd.

Report it to his e-mail provider and block him from yours.
Or ratchet it up a notch: if you know where he lives, call the PD or Sheriff's department and file charges for cyberstalking. They take it pretty seriously in most jurisdictions these days, and a third charge in a lot of jurisdictions bumps up to a felony after two prior misdemeanor convictions.
Of course, if he's threatening death or seriously bodily harm, it may already be a felony.

It technically is a throw away account, I don't use it for anything else.

"your dead" is self-explanatory, if grammatically hilarious. You need to talk with a detective in the PD where you live . Give him or her as much info as you can. They'll take it from there.
