With all the "expert" anti-porn opinion floating around, I am curious how much porn it takes to affect ones life in a negative way.

By this definition, porn is rather innocuous. In moderation it can be used to enhance one's sexual life. As with everything it can be used improperly and cause problems.

Porn definitely causes problems. It's like an addictive drug for some people. You start watching crazier stuff and it gets to the point where normal sex with your significant other is not enough to satisfy you. Too many children on the internet have access to porn. It just starts an addiction for many people in their teens and they can't ever break the habit. Plus you have a lot of women who make porn one time and are forever labeled as trash by society. It definitely shouldn't be legal for paying 18 year olds to make porn. I'm sure many of them wouldn't have made the choice to do porn if they had a few extra years to mature.

I've been researching this since about 1957, when I found some of my dad's old Playboy's in the trash. I'll get back to you when I finish my research.

None now. Used to watch it with the exhusband, though.

I watch it all the time. My wife does too. We consider it a healthy habit. We watch it solo, or together. Neither of us gets all jelly about it. To us, it is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.

Quit protecting people from making bad decisions with laws.

Let them make their own decisions. Good or bad. 18 is old enough to know better

This is generally the best practice.

Not really. 18 year olds are very shortsighted, and incredibly immature when compared to people just 3-4 years older.

This was the case with us, as well. I always considered it more of an enhancement than an impairment. I went to strip clubs with him and he went alone in addition to the porn. No biggie.

I think internet porn is destructive for most people, and incredibly destructive for some. It can also spice up a couple's sex life to an extent, but sometimes that evolves into something unhealthy.

Personally, I wish there had never been any internet porn. It would have saved a massive amount of wasted time and productivity, saved a lot of marriages, prevented a lot of murders/suicides, saved a lot of lives, especially people under age 18, and no one would have missed it.

The world would have been a much better, safer place.

You could replace "internet porn" with SEC football and the same would be true, especially in Alabama.

I used to think it was no big deal. Then my wife found out about me and the furries. Try explaining that one.

I rarely watch it. Wife hates it.

I dated a girl once that I think was addicted to it. She was on some diet pill some shady doctor gave her(adapex or something) that was basically legal speed. It made her a borderline nymphomaniac, and 100% batshit crazy. This was in the late 90's before internet porn and DVD's. She had 3 or 4 VHS tapes of porn she watched all the time. That was an interesting 2 months.
