They were some good ole boys. They lived and fished off Choccolocco Creek on Logan Martin. Put us on some good bass. Their daddy owned the business, and they'd all come on Fridays to get some live bait and such. Bear in mind, these guys were in their 30's and 40's and their dad was pushing 70. One day, one of em let out a cuss word. I swear I thought his daddy was gonna yank his belt out and start beating him right there. He was all over his arse about being disrespectful like that in public.

This is stupid. Having a kid, regardless of marital status, would never improve ones financial situation unless that kid hops out the womb shitting diamonds or singing like JT. I'm having a child out of wedlock and we're doing just fine.

good advice overall. However I have a cousin who would prolly be kicked out of the bank if he walked in with normal clothes. The dude is a super genius (dummy to me - I grew up with him) and supposedly a freaking world class elite surgeon. If you ever talked to him you'd think he was high on drugs or a super dumbass. He don't give a shyt what people think about his clothes or his haircut.

That has nothing to do with privilege. The standard has been set for over 4,000 years.

Who has historically held more wealth in this country? Generally speaking, the people with wealth are the job creators. You will tend to gravitate towards people who you share things in common with. Whitey has that built in advantage (it is getting better, but to pretend that it isn't simply isn't true). My office has 3 white females, 1 female of foreign descent and the rest white males. Maybe a coincidence, but it isn't as uncommon as you might think.

I watch the local news, with their black anchors.
I report a burglary and it takes the police 6 hours to show up to my house.
And the chief of police literally called me a racist and klan member for asking him to do something about our former neighbor's pittbull who tore my uncle's leg apart. The neighbor wasn't even black but he assumed he was.
