Haven't had frogmore stew but grew up on chicken bog (aka chicken Perlo). God I miss the food down south!

Maybe the panhandle. Not the rest of it though

The rest is a containment area for relocated Yankees and Cubans.

A lot depends on what type of subregions you want to talk about. Are we talking about cultural, geographic or geologic? Are we talking about areas that can include large sections of multiple states or areas that are contained within a state?

Like Georgia has three major geographic/geologic regions - the mountains, the piedmont and the coastal plain.

Some areas (Gulf Coast) can be considered geographic as well as cultural.

Just some terms I will throw out and let people assign them where they feel are best.

Cotton Belt
Black Belt
Wiregrass
Lowcountry
Delta
Appalachia
Gulf Coast

ETA: Any list without the Atlantic Coastal Plains is incomplete.

Texas has 4 major regions. The coastal plains can be broken up into several sub regions as well. God's country.

Arkansas alone would be broken up into Boston Mountains, Ozarks, River Valley, Ouchitas, Delta, and maybe even some more in Eastern/Southern Arkansas.

Same with SC. We are broken up into Piedmont, Lowcountry, Midlands, Upperstate (foothills), CSRA (Central Savannah River Area)...there are a couple more that some use to break it up even more but those are the main ones.
