That's tough. The early phase is the worst. Hold in farts for like 6 hours, just to explode in your car as you leave.

Never.

I've been with the same girl for a long time, and I will never intentionally let one go.

also, it's never ok for the female to fart. Ever. That's just disgusting

Minutes after the first time we have sex.

If she lets me make the pussy fart, but can't handle one of my farts then it ain't ever gonna be anything more between us than making the pussy fart

If you really like the person, first date. You have to start a relationship with honesty. A fart is honest as you can get

Agree. Get it out of the way, acknowledge it, and move on.

I mean, I'm generally farting within the first 15 minutes, so I'm not the best person to ask about this.

Is this the sort of shite millennials spend time worrying about?

Just put it out there. Consider it a test.

Acting like no one farts as to not offend is typical of your generation.

People fart, sometimes even shart.

Why pretend that your a-hole is any different than anyone else's a-hole?

She farts, you fart. It is what it is. If your girl can't accept you putting one out there, or vice versa, then you need to move on because the relationship is a joke.

Well that's no fun.

I was raised around a bunch of boys, so I laugh about it. Does not "gross me out" at all.

Never. I don't fart around anyone. I don't want to smell other people's gas, so it's doubtful they want to smell mine.

I feel like the people who melt over a fart are the kind of people who I wouldn't want to be around.

I didn't fart around my wife through our year dating. About three months into marriage I accidentally let one slip out of the ole echo chamber. When her head didn't explode, I knew it was safe.

Exactly! I do not get the big deal.

Let'er rip, guys. See if she laughs, acts offended or disgusted, if she can handle the noxious fumes, or if she gags/vomits from foul smells.

It seems the best combination would be a chick that gets the humor of the situation (a 3rd grade sense of humor as an adult isn't necessarily always a bad thing) combined with the capability to withstand the amount of funk you emit. Hell, even better is a chick who will assign your fart a rating based on several factors as well as a rating for the vileness of the smell.

Go ahead...feign disgust and shock that a female would dare to act this way. Y'all do it with each other, though. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Some of us have senses of humor as well and love to laugh..and shockingly, a good many of us do find farts funny even if only a small portion of females will admit to it.

In my case, it isn't that my wife makes a big deal out of it when one slips out. She doesn't care.

I'm a firefighter and to most of the guys on my department a quality fart let go at the right time is the thing that can transform you from just another vollie to the stuff of legend. I find them just as funny as everyone else, but I don't do it on purpose around her because I find it disrespectful.

That's just how I'm wired. Others see it differently and to those I say fire away.
