I'm not implying anything other than KSG's demeanor as of late is not the same as it was earlier this year. Oddly enough the changed seemed to happen about the time he came back from that little sabbatical.

But I'm not getting off topic any more.

Someone took over my account or I've changed or something, I don't know. He can get flamed back for once, it's good for him, it's not that big of a deal.

I stand by my statement. There are countless studies by academics and the DOJ that show policing on blacks is harsher. You can Google or not, I provided my perspective without any expectation of changing someone's mind.

Only 22% of the people killed in America this year by cops were black men. That would be 191 out of 857 people killed this year. I would say out of those 191 people that about 10% at most weren't justified. So you're looking AT MOST 20 black men in America were unjustly killed by the police this year. Sounds like you're really oppressed.

And the media stirs shite with all of them. Most of the times the media pushes the agenda before finding out everything about the story. This is called fragmenting. The media pushes this when nothing is going on to create hits for their website and pockets. I could claim a story right now, but afterwards I would look like an idiot. This does not matter with the mainstream media because it reaches more and creates controversy.

Like I said, people have in much worse in the world and much worse in this country than when it comes to cops "picking on blacks".

I personally feel like we will never get away from this and it will continue to get worse because everyone and their brother has a cell phone these days and always feels so offended in life.

I put up the post earlier talking about how minorities have better preferential treatment when it comes to opportunities where the whites don't. I mean that could be huge for a job, but yet it is the white mans fault that they have no jobs. Change will only happen when we move on and learn from our mistakes. Right now in society we are regressing. We are not learning from our history and it will repeat itself one day. That isnt a threat and I hate to see it like that, but its true.

I know tons of cops, none of them luckily have had to fire their weapon, and all of them are very thankful that they havent been in that spot. Also, as society we chose what is good and what is bad. Not to throw BowlJackson under the bus here, but in another thread he posted a picture from Shameless about the retard nation. I laughed because I know he meant no harm and I remember that episode. However, that can be viewed to some as negative, just as how he feels about racial issues or disrespect.

Key point for this is that we all need to grow up, get away from the influencing media and help one another advance so that our future generations don't have to deal with this shite.

No one knows yet. ALEA has taken over, and hasn't released the name.

I hope they release bodycam video. That would hopefully settle the entire matter.

The only thing that anybody has been told yet is that Hoover is being as transparent as possible...

They should release it before this thing gets bigger than it is right now. Get out in front of it before the real trouble makers get here.

You should read his post again, because he said nothing in the post you quoted about police killings. Here, I'll quote it for you again so you don't have to scroll up.

I bolded part of it for you as well.

Where did he say he was oppressed? He didn't, but you didn't let that stop you from belittling his opinion. Grow up and learn how to use the brain you were given.

Have you stopped to look at the % of violent crime in this country that is committed by that 12%(black) of the population? Hell man!...the black cops are generally the toughest on blacks. You can call it profiling if you want to, but are you gonna feel more comfortable reaching down to pet a collie, or a pit bull? It's a tough situation for law abiding African-Americans to have to live in, but before you protest too much, try putting yourself in the cop's shoes.

I know a cop who killed multiple people on duty... and then has turned that reputation into a profitable business. Literally one of those deaths was walking up to a boat and unloading 30 ar-15 rounds into it with another ar toting judge, jury, and executioner, all because a suspect refused to surrender. Dude's not a hero, he's due process denying pos.

Policing on blacks is harsher. Black men are more violent than white men. Studies or something.

Things I've learned from this thread:

-Bowl isn't black
-KSG and Bowl aren't getting along
-Arguments like these are why we can't move forward as a society

Hoover officials apologize to EJ Bradford's family

quote:

Hoover mayor Frank Brocato, Police Chief Nick Derzis, and City Councilman Derrick M. Murphy apologized to the family of E.J. Bradford, Jr., who was killed by a Hoover police officer at the Riverchase Galleria on Thanksgiving night, in a meeting Tuesday evening in a second-floor conference room at the Westin in downtown Birmingham.

The apology was for initially identifying Bradford as the shooter in a dispute that led to the wounding of 18-year-old Brian Wilson and 12-year-old Molly Davis, not for the subsequent police shooting of Bradford.

quote:

“I think it went well with the mayor,” E.J. Bradford, Sr. said of the meeting. “He was very considerate. I saw the emotion in his face. He had to collect himself. He felt it in his heart.”

quote:

“The mayor was shaking like a leaf,” said Jefferson County Commissioner Sheila Tyson, who attended and helped coordinate the meeting. “The family was crying; the mayor was about to cry; I was crying.”

quote:

Bradford, Sr. said he “kind of” accepted the apology conveyed by Derzis. “Borderline,” is how he described it. “I know he has people to report to, including the mayor. I’ll let them work that out.”

The family is still incensed that the parents did not receive confirmation that it was their son that was killed until the father spoke with a Hoover Detective whom he knew at 4:53 a.m. Friday

quote:

Bradford, Sr., who once worked for the Birmingham Police Department, said the family still wants to see all video of the deadly encounter between their son and the police, including mall and bodycam footage if it exists. He acknowledges the decision to release the video is in the hands of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, not with the city of Hoover.

“ALEA’s going to try to hold it and go through every angle; I give them that,” he said. “But pressure needs to be put on them to release it as soon as possible.”

I'm not going to pet any dog that's snarling at me, but I love me a good pit.

I'm not patting one that's snarling either, but if you got a collie and a pit standing next to each other, which one would a stranger be most likely to reach down and pet?

Hoover asks State to release shooting video

quote:

Derrick Murphy, Hoover’s lone black city council member, has called for state authorities to release information and footage regarding the deadly shooting of Emantic Fitzgerald “EJ” Bradford inside the Riverchase Galleria.

Murphy, along with Mayor Frank Brocato, Police Chief Nick Derzis, and other city leaders made the announcement Thursday morning during a press briefing at City Hall.

ALEA has been asked to release information about the shooting by noon Monday, Murphy said. If ALEA does not, the city might release it themselves, Murphy said.

quote:

“I’m making a request to ALEA to allow the City of Hoover to release the limited information we have. We urge ALEA to approve this request no later than noon on Monday. Chief Derzis and I have also discussed a follow up plan in the event we don’t receive the information by Monday at noon, the chief will decide whether to release the limited information on his own,” Murphy said.
