I got mine done a little over a year ago. It wasn't bad. The drugs didn't work very well while the procedure was ongoing. I ended up in a panic attack and almost threw up on the Dr. The worst was smelling my tubes getting cauterized. There wasn't any pain just the pop of his tool entering the scrotum.

yeah, when i got it done it was a piece of cake. during the procedure i didn't really feel anything except a slight tug at one point, and the valium was causing me to give zero fricks
i enjoyed the time i had afterwards. Just sat on the couch for a couple of days with a bag of frozen peas on my junk, popping hydrocodones, watching the tube

Afterwards isn't bad.
They'll tell you to keep ice on your junk and take it easy for a few days.
I watched TV and moved around a bit tenderly for a day or so. Was back to normal pretty quickly.
PS If you get divorced, you'll find out pretty quickly that women our age tend to get really fricking excited when they find out you can't knock them up. Silver lining.
