Legally, can the governors even do this? I was talking to someone in law school the other night, they discussed it in class. Since the Federal government controls immigration, the governors may not have a legal basis to refuse. It's scary stuff.

ISIS is Sunni.
Al Qaeda is Sunni.
The Saudis are Sunni.
Kuwait is Sunni.
Assad of Syria is an Alawite (Shia but not always aligned with majority of Shia)
Iran is Shia
Palestinians are mostly Sunni but ally themselves with Iran's Shia government
Iraq is majority Shia with a large Sunni population
Iran, Syria, Palestinians, and government of Iraq are Shia and work together. The Saudis and many of the Arab ruling governmetns are Sunni and actively work against them.

Sunni and Shia Muslims are not the same. Worlds apart in fact. I believe IS is primarily Sunni while most of the wealthy Arab states are Shia. I big clusterf... in my opinion.
You have it backwards.
Majority Sunni: SA, Egypt, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, Afghanistan, all other 'stans
Majority Shia: Iran, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait
Problem is Syria huge majority ruled by Shia (Alawite) and Iraq Sunni marginalized by Shia government full of Iranian influence.

You are correct. Going from bad memory during early happy hour.
But the ultimate point remains. At some point being humane has to trump fear.

A Palestinian acquaintance of mine several years ago told me that, as far as the rich Gulf states and Saudi Arabia was concerned, the Palestinians are the n***ers of the Middle East.
When I was in Iraq I was speaking to a guy that looked exactly like Robin Williams, he was Iraqi, spoke five languages. He said the same thing. I was pretty much shocked to hear something like that.

France is falling on it's own sword. Hopefully they'll elect Le Pen next election before it's too late.
Western civilization needs to repel this invasion...these migrants are coming here with the intent to take over, have 10 kids apiece and shove their Sharia law down our throats. They'll commit acts of terror, rape our women, and cause utter chaos. It needs to end before it gets too bad.

France has no choice to keep accepting immigrants by the boatload. Shrinking birth rates and a socio-economic policy that is dependent on population growth have left them in a bind.
A better solution would be white French natives to start having more kids instead of inviting these scum to their land.

It seems like these Governers want to avoid a possible terror attack from within these refugees. If you think these extremist are not clever enough to pull it off then you are mistaken and have never witnessed the lengths they will go.

I wonder if someone shot a rifle through your bedroom window, if you would go and open the front door for him?

You can be humane, in helping them in their country of origin. It's treasonous, to be bringing people here, that can't be properly vetted and putting Americans at risk as a direct result of the immigration action.

So they have a shitty president too? We are so euro now.

Simple question. Has the constitution, voice of America, or laws stopped Obama from doing what he wants?
In this case the Feds can deliver people wherever they want to. It's nothing new and the governors can't do a damn thing about it.

This is why Iraq is likely to remain volatile until another 'Saddam' comes to power there. There's a tug of war, Saudi Arabia on one side, Iran on the other, constantly pulling on Iraq.

I'm sure that this was posted without the knowledge that we have less intelligence on Syria than pretty much any other country. Look at the facts man.
