Driving Pet Peeves

In honor of me dreading my commute home in the rain, I wanted to see what some of y'all's driving pet peeves are
For me:
1. Not going 10+ MPH over the limit in the far left lane/not moving over once someone faster comes along
2. Not using signals to change lanes
3. Small dick racers on 285 weaving in and out of traffic with no regard for humanity.

4. People who don't know how to make a left turn at a busy red light.
5. People who text and drive, especially at red lights, then get pissed because people honk at them.

My list, no particular order
Number 1: Anyone who does not use his/her turn signal.
Number 2: Making a left turn after the light has turned red, blocking the intersection for the next queue's turn to proceed forth.
Number 3: People in gigantic trucks or sports cars who love to blast their turbo and weave in and out of traffic in a 2-lane 40 mph zone.
Number 4: Not fixing a poor parking job.
Number 5: Driving slow in the fast lane and refusing to get over or being oblivious to the cars that have lined up behind you
Number 6: Texting/making phone calls. You can always tell when you're behind a texter.
Number 7: Bumper humpers. How good is your insurance?
And if you still drive a Hummer in 2021, I assume you're an a-hole

number 8 - running a red light. After 1st ticket there should be an automatic suspension of license followed by a retaking of exam.
number 9 - taking 2 parking spots for your Mercedes - automatic tow away
number 10 - using emergency flashers in the rain. Besides being an inept a-hole that should already have parked... there will surely be a special reserved place in hell.
number 11 - throwing trash out the window should result in a 2" microsoft garbage-can tattooed across your forehead

My favorite kind of a-hole. I really love those that do it when the lanes to either side are totally free and clear, too.
I used to throw some light brake checks, but now I do the less obvious speed drop off just because I no longer trust those morons with not rear ending me.

OP's top 3 for sure, plus:
Driver behind you at a red light who honks horn no longer than 0.3 seconds of red light turning green.
Only excuse is if said driver has a case of diarrhea. I forgive that.

Trophy wives with botox lips in Cadillac Escalades texting 10 seconds after the light has turned green making people behind HER miss the green light.
And throwing a hissy fit when you honk at HER.

My biggest one is when people are turning right and they have their own lane to turn into but they sit there and wait until no cars are coming anyways. I'll be 5 or 6 cars back on the horn.

Also people who stop to let people out when they are the ones with the right away.
I get that they are trying to be nice, but in truth they are just causing more issues and holding many more people back behind them. What you need to do is hurry up, speed past them and that will make it quicker for them to go.
Especially since half the time the other car is like - ummm, I don't have the right away, what are you doing? I know if I'm on the other side, I really don't like it specifically for that reason.
When you are approaching a red light and someone is trying to get out there is obviously different. Let those guys in.

And not using a turn signal is pretty bad. But even worse is when you come to an intersection where you both have a stop sign and the crossing street does not.
Are you turning left? Are you going straight? Your lack of a turn signal indicates you are going straight, and I'm turning left.
Then they make a left, which causes me to sit here and miss a turn because you couldn't be bothered to signal.

The people that let others cut in line when there's a long line of cars pisses me off too. I had to wait in all of that shite, take your arse to the back of the line. When people try to cut me I get aggressive as hell and don't let them in if there's a long line that they're trying to cut.

2. Waiting to the last second to merge into the lane you knew you were going to have to get into well before you did. If the lane is open go ahead and get in there.
3. Not understanding the concept of merging.
4. Not knowing how to use turn lanes. Quit slamming on the brakes before you get into them. Your whole car should be in the turn lane well before you make the turn and that turn lane is specifically there for you to slow down in
5. Sitting at busy traffic lights not paying attention. It turns green and you notice in time for you to get through the light but you force 4-5 extra cars to sit through the light again.
6. Drive thru lines. Don’t block the cars that just got their food from exiting. Why do you have to be directly behind the car in front of you? How do expect us to move up in line if no cars have room to exit the line?
I could probably go on for days

Those frickers who see an long line of cars in an exit or turning lane but yet use an empty lane to get to the front of the line and then stop and put their blinkers on waiting for someone to let them into the front of the line.
Also those people who sit in the turning lane with their blinkers on trying to make a left hand turn across 3 lanes of standstill traffic at 5pm...and the frickers who let them in

This is a big one for me and is actually against the law in some places. People don’t understand that when you put flasher on you can’t tell when they are making a turn signal. All you need to do in heavy rain is put your lights on and no flashers. Seems half the people don’t realize this
