It's worse. I could stay reasonably entertained there in high school, but now I want to off myself the moment I step foot in town.

Lexington has gotten better. The invasion of illegals affected some neighborhoods but, all in all, it has become a small city that functions well.

I swore to myself I would never go back when I left for college.

Now I wouldn't mind moving back to the coast at all.

I'm from Birmingham (West End) so yeah my hometown is pretty bad, with that said I wouldn't mind moving back to the "ham".

Cleburne, TX has grown quite a bit but other than you really, really want to learn Spanish now it is about the same. I never thought it sucked.

It's a nice place to raise a family, but terribly boring. At least it's equidistant to Birmingham and Nashville, and a short drive to Huntsville. It has grown a decent bit (up to a whopping 23,000), so I imagine there is slightly more to do (not to mention legal alcohol sales).

I'm from Highland City, FL...a town of +/- 2000 people. We had one red light, a post office, and 3 damn churches.

Wasn't too bad though

My little hometown of Houston is much better when you're over 21, have a car, bank account, and ability to choose my neighborhood. Although the neighborhood I grew up in is significantly better now.

Overall I like it better now.

Montgomery has stayed pretty constant. The ghetto is expanding but the city has had a lot of improvements since getting the Biscuits.
