I know the off seasons are always bad but holy shite I can't stand much outside of a few baseball threads. It's amazing the whole unfunny jimmies thing is still going on like two years after it hit this site. Just all around awfulness...the worst culprits are the AU/LSU/Bama fans. They have a bad mixture of taking themselves too seriously and 35+ year old dudes who can barely use the internet.

Pretty much since we got our own team boards.
I would guesstimate 80% of my posts are now on the team board of ours.

This is the first year my baseball threads sink to the second page quickly.
The rant has grown in Bama, Auburn, Missouri, and Texas AM numbers this past year. Those fan bases care very little about baseball, which leads to terrible threads about different subjects.

Same here, the Grind Rant is so much more enjoyable than the SECR.
You're definitely right on the baseball threads...It's so frustrating to see those threads sink on Fri/Sat/Sun for shite threads like "Are your jimmies rustled at AU's Receivers", "Are we finally SEC Yet", etc.

Personally I just post on our board. Do like to rag on Tiger nick because he starts dumb threads on the rant.

sometimes it's like a bunch of old ladies gossiping but the rustled jimmies thing is funny imo

Rustled jimmies was funny years ago...it was beaten in the ground back in fall 2012. I don't even know how to describe it now.

I'm female and aware of my limitations when talking about sports (I just cheered for them), but it's bad. I like our boards and learn from them though.

but back on point, good conversation can be had on the SECr if you want it to happen. just gotta be able to ignore a lot of bullshite. much like reddit or 4chan...
