Over Fayetteville too!

Fayetteville or Hot Springs are the only real options om that side of the bracket.

No kidding, that's a laugher in and of itself. I'm no homer, but isn't Monroe like a pretty seedy place? From Wikipedia:

quote:

Despite its relatively small size, Monroe suffers from higher than average levels of crime and poverty. Some studies have placed Monroe within the top 100 most dangerous cities in America for crime rates, and the 6th poorest city (per capita) in America. It was ranked 3rd worst small city for crime (among cities whose populations are less than 200,000).

Yeah, definitely not my idea of a "great Southern town."

Annapolis is the best town on the list. There are some really terrible ones on the list too

Fairhope is the bees knees, although Point Clear is better.

Franklin sounds as kewl as aged period blood.

Franklin is actually badass. They could have picked better Alabama towns for this.

Oxford probably won't be able to get by Fairhope in the next round

Whoever made that bracket is clueless of those areas and how the bracket is supposed to work. Oxford, Franklin, TN, and Fairhope, AL should all be top 4 seeds in their bracket. That is an insanely difficult bracket to get out of as those are three very popular cities. Heck, Fairhope deserves better than a 1st round match up against arguably the nicest Nashville suburb. Brutal second round match up for Oxford as well.
