It'll never happen in AL or MS..... at least not in the next decade. Really unfortunate for people with chronic pain/illness.

Don't lump us in with you. Pot laws in Mississippi are very different than in Alabama. You can have up to an Oz here and it's just a citation. Was some of the most lenient in the South before last night.

False. There were TWO medical marijuana ballot initiatives this year. One of them was declared unconstitutional after it was on the ballot.
The one that remained passed anyway.

Go ahead and give me my downvotes. I voted NO! This is going to cause too many problems. I'm a Material Rep at a distribution center. The guys in the warehouse drive forklifts and electric palletjacks. We've had at least 4 incidents in the last 10 years that resulted in someone getting terminated after being high and causing an accident. I wouldn't really care if people would just use it at home, but how do you prove if someone is under the influence if they cause an accident and then test positive and they say they smoked the night before?

Blood testing measure influence. People in Colorado have also been working on creating a less intrusive influence test for police to use roadside.
What type of test do they take for alcohol?
It sounds like y'all have hired some real screw ups at your work. I'm in the construction industry, and I've never heard of that many on the job accidents from people high at work from any contractor I've worked with.
It's good to know your okay with thousands of people being incarcerated, because you're hr department are too incompetent to hire decent works or protest
for employment.

One step closer to it being passed for recreational use. Nevada approved it for recreational use, which I believe puts us at 8 states.
Nevada is using the tax revenue from it to go to K-12 programs. All I know is it's created some pretty fun jobs over in Colorado and lots of people are employed because of it. Just imagine being a student in Boulder and your part time job in college is being a delivery guy. I wouldn't put that on my resume, but it sure as hell would help pay the bills.
