Since wolves have been reintroduced to Yellowstone, cougars and wolves have been eating each other. (When I use the word cougar, I mean the cat...not an old lady.)

I'm ashamed of myself that I was expecting an old lady when I clicked on this thread.

Interesting read though.

Rob Klein, the stupid looking a-hole on the far right, is the jerk who killed this beautiful animal in Alberta, Canada. (His facial expression is reminicent of those seen on Nazi concentration camp guards during WWII.) This cougar specimen weighed over 200 pounds. This unusually large specimen is probably what the average size was for a Pleistocene male cougar.

It's sad that people kill these animals just for trophies.

I volunteer to eat the cougar meat and use the fur. They can send it to me. Better now?

Yep. I'm a pretty avid hunter, but will never understand the trophy hunting folks.

True story. Killing for food is one thing, this is just murder.

You guys realize that predator population control is a thing, right? Also, people eat mountain lion. It's supposedly very good.

Yeah that point of view is weird to me.

Eating a particular meat and hunting a particular animal are two different activities. You can't enjoy one and not the other? What about the millions of people who eat meat everyday, but are unwilling and unable to kill an animal themselves? Aren't they just as bad?

I have zero problems with people that kill animals for food.

Maybe I've just never heard of anyone eating Mountain Lions.
