40 maps that explain WWI

If there are any WWI junkies out there I thought you might like to see this. For some reason it's my favorite war to research.

Thanks for posting, I just started watching the series "Our World War," it's about the British during WW I. Very good show. It combines narrative non-fiction mixed in with facts about all the battles.

WW I buffs should also check out Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History" series on the war. It's fantastic.

So my understanding from documentaries I watched is that France and Britain screwed up the world for 100 years. They caused WW2 by not listening to American and demanding severe reparations. Had they been light in punishment like America suggested the German people might of never rose to power.

Then you throw in that they divided up central Europe and the Middle East in ways that would cause wars for 100 years.
