Young players forced into a roles to early. If you don't like Hughes moxie I don't really know what to tell you. This team needed someone to want to take the shot and I'll gladly watch him learn on the job.

Oh I like Hughes and think he could be really good as early as next year.
He has size, athleticism, plays good defense. Now just needs better shot selection.

This is why KA deserves a couple more years.

Nope. He didn't take any transfers and didn't keep guys at Mizzou. KA either has to win this year or be gone. If he does win it's good for the future, young guys should get better.

It's really a tough situation. I don't think anyone will ever really know how much the probation hurt this program. I do know in my lifetime we've missed on a ton of talent out of the STL area. I also think if KA landed Bryant nobody would even be talking about KA losing his job. If you don't think Tom Crean was in his ear with that your nuts and if you think that had something to do with KA, well...

If KA landed his Plan D's we'd be better.

Walker on SEC Network said it was a "good win". Umm no, shooting 37% against a 4-4 non Power 5 school is weak.

His team is young every year because the most experienced players keep transferring out. On the flip side, even if those guys stuck around, I question how much better this sorry team would be. It's become an unfortunate pattern.

Again tough to recruit to a school on probation. Nobody ever wants to mention that and act as though it had no bearing on anything.

His Freshman class right now has already shown they ALL have a lot of potential. In a very limited situation. I agree he's had some misses, but when everyone acts as though that falls solely on his shoulders when he walked into a dirty shite show I don't really know what to say. Same crowd that thinks Haith is a good coach.

So we're basically at the point in the relationship where winning by 26 is not "good."

A win over a garbage team, is worthy of KA getting another year.

It really depends on who gets recruited around them. For example 2018 & 2019 have a bunch of top 100 recruits. Also a bunch around 140-170. All in Missouri.

A couple of things here while I laugh and get pissed off at the same time.

As far as transfer - so you're advocating that KA be Frank Haith 2.0?

As far as NOT keeping guys at Mizzou - so he should keep kids that are 'malcontents'?

As far as winning this year, I agree.

It was a 2 or 3 point game at halftime. And shooting 32%.

I'm sure all the blue bloods can't wait to poach them too. Just like they have for years.

Look at Mizzou's history. There are a bunch of transfers. Haith went overboard with transfers, but that doesn't mean KA shouldn't be taking some.

Compliance obviously is an issue. They waiting until the grad transfer market was basically dried up before letting KA know that he could take a grad transfer this year.

I just think KA saw what he had and decided the program needed to be blown up & rebuilt.

Obviously a school like Mizzou needs a healthy balance of high school recruits and transfers.
Whoever the coach is next year needs to keep most of the current freshmen and sophomores, then fill in needs with transfers. The
