Many of us have been through this song and dance before.

When you compare what Pinkel and Odom inherited its a much-improved situation for Odom. I would like you to argue otherwise. That would be entertaining. Pinkel would have had double digit wins with the veteran roster we had this year. I have no doubt about that.

I have never posted a "fire Odom" thread. You can argue your strawmen all day, in fact, you beat up on strawmen most of the time in threads like this.

Pinkel did get shite for his game day coaching. I was one of the ones doing it. But compared to BO he was a game day genius. He likely would have only lost yo UGA on this season's schedule.

That said BO is getting better so we can only hope. Thread started as a joke. JQ get his panties twisted as usual. This board should be a place to bitch when BO pulls dumb shite. If it makes jQ cry so be it

Neither Odom nor Pinkel inherited great situations.

Again....I didn’t make the comparison. Why do you keep ignoring this fact?

But since it’s being made, I expanded on it. Yes, Pinkel inherited a worse situation. Fact. Odom’s situation was also not as good as you are trying to make it seem. Fact. Odom has also done better, in a tougher league. Fact. At the very least, it’s incredibly similar.

If you will allow yourself to be honest briefly, you’ll at least admit that there is no chance you would have thought Pinkel would do what he eventually did after year 3. After you admit that (at least privately) you’ll have no choice but to see just how silly your assertion that Odom CAN’T do it as well.

Odom had a clear path to 10 wins this season. In fact, the deck was stacked for Mizzou. He ended up with 8 wins after the bowl. That UK loss is clearly on Odom. USC is 50/50. Bowl game is all on coaching. Sorry.

Can Odom grow into the coach Pinkel became? I highly doubt it.

Ok. Did we replace him with a HC thats going to reverse the course before the program falls back into the abyss of the 80's? Should we be happy with .500 conference seasons? Is that who we are? The ceiling frick that.

Clearly on coaching.

This is the disconnect. You think you know, but in reality you don’t know shite.

Mizzou is “supposed” to win 10 games against a top 10 schedule? Can’t you see how you’re never going to be satisfied?

And of course, no credit given to the coach that built a roster that was “supposed” to win 10 games against a top 10 schedule despite being at a huge recruiting disadvantage to well over half the conference. My goodness...

The extent of some of your guys critical thinking can’t get past coaches lose, players win.

Name the young men on this years roster, that significantly contributed, that Odom recruited

In year 3? HIGHLY doubt it.

Pinkel was a great coach. He also went 10-4 (got blown out twice) with a team that was preseason top 5. That disappointment was “clearly coaching” no?

Let me know when Odom gets to this level of "failure"

Thanks

Goofball,

AGAIN, I’m not the one claiming to “know” here. That’s you and your circus troupe ITT

Knox, Gicinto, Scott, Johnson, Albert O, Parker, Badie, Rountree, Crockett, Simms, Castillo, Durant, Elliott, Garrett, Byers, Whiteside, Acy, Holmes, Gillespie more I’m missing

The two deep 8 of 22 on the two deep were signed by Pinkel. The rest of the guys that play not on the two deep are exclusively Odom recruits.

There were 16 true freshman, RSFr, and SOs on the two deep this year. That is more than GP had at any point in his 15 years.

I didn’t walk into shite.

The VAST majority of the players taking snaps are Odom’s guys.

Again, this is the roster YOU said was “supposed” to win 10 games against a top 10 schedule.

You’ve stepped in shite several times already itt and just keep slipping around in it.

Did the experts had Missouri in the top 25 before the season started? Nope! Wonder why?

Also the experts had Missouri at 7 to 7.5 wins this season.

This year the experts pre-ranked Missouri at 22.

The reason the experts pre-ranked Missouri at 22 for 2019 season is the team is expecting to win at least 9 games.
