Rhule wasn’t the only coach to turn Mizzou down. Even if official offers never happened.

The way it works is the AD contacts the search firm. The search firm lays out generalities of a contract to the agent of a potential coach. The coach can then express interest or say no thanks.

Baylor hired Rhule a year later, for less money than Mizzou approached him about.

I worked in the AD 10 years ago. Every hire went down that exact way.

Actually I did. There’s a ton of information about how these deals get made if you don’t believe me, then dona little research.

NO YOU DID NOT! if you did, you would have a clue to how inaccurate you are. Everyone embellishes, but the fact that you are so far in left field shows you have NO actual knowledge. You were so desperate to make a point, you were ridiculous. You do not now, nor have you ever had any experience in these matters. In fact I believe the closest you have ever come is spreading made up rumors. We are laughing at you, just stop.

Do some research. You will see I laid out the way the hiring process works and what happened with Rhule and Mizzou.

I find it very hard to believe we offered any coach, let alone Rhule, 5M a year

OK, we gotta go, kids are playing next. You have been entertaining and a good distraction during the Jr. Varsity game. Thank you for that.

It shouldn’t, Pinkel’s final contract was $4.02 million, with $725k in potential bonuses. That was the 6th highest salary in the SEC at that time. Because of the 2015 protests MR had to overbid to the more proven HC candidates. I was told Mizzou was willing to go close to that for Herman, but he never even considered listening to Mizzou.
