Personally?
Win out?
Make a bowl?
Win a few more but show competitively in all games?
Nothing? Too far gone?

He needs to win 6 games
The East is terrible and UConn/Idaho are must wins.
He should be fired now but he'll be allowed to go 3-9 before he's fired.

Beat UK
Beat Vandy
Beat UT
Beat Arky
Beat UF
Be competitive against UGA
Destroy Idaho
Destroy UConn
Pretty much what I would expect of any solid football team. Losing one of those conference games in addition to UGA would be understandable. Otherwise, nothing more and nothing less than I would expect going into any year.

I appreciate the crazed rant.
Even if it was about as tame as it gets, it totally fit into the Mizzou way of doing things, just a little bit more B team than everyone else.
Based on what I’ve seen from the state as a whole lately, I’m glad that was his full retard.
Win 6 games. I’ll be cool.

6 games. and the team has to look like it's consistently improving

He just needs to show he’s mildly competent.
So we win against Idaho and UConn and put up a fight in almost all our games and are competitive in all but UF and UGA and we win a couple conference games.
I would guess none of those will happen. We may win against Idaho or UConn. But I doubt we win both. We won’t be competitive against UK or UT.
If he is retained even after failing all of that, Sterk needs to force him to bring in a D Coordinator. And a new LB coach. And a new defensive backfield coach.

At this point? Honestly?
Nothing. I'm just done.

As long as he's the HC he has my support UNLESS he or the university allows kneeling during the anthem. It doesn't mean I don't get frustrated bc I do and am and will.

He needs to get to six wins and field a team that doesn't look like total dog shite.
Then, he needs to recruit well this year.
I just don't see either happening.

Clean his office really well, and empty the wastebasket so everything is ready for the next HC. Do that and he has my support.

It's one thing if we were "struggling" this year with losses, but competitive games. But what we have is terrible play, confusion, and massacres.
I'm still not convinced that Sterk will fire BO after the season, but empty seats and further total embarrassment may not be tolerated despite good intentions.
The fun of watching the team has left me...and I'm usually pretty forgiving.

Take ownership for his failures
Stop sounding like a clueless whiny bitch at press conferences.
Win more then 5 games this year.

Just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Who in the world would want to board HCBO's sinking ship? Plus, HCBO has a super weak record with staff hires.
With this schedule and offense...6 wins and a bowl game has been my expectation from preseason. And remains so. I'm looking forward to BO & Co. leaving this year.

This is true for almost every new head coach, it usually takes 3-4 years for that coach to assemble their staff.
Look at Mason at Vandy, he’s in year 4 there and has 1 coach from his first staff still with him.

Kneeling during a song? That is what will push you over the edge?

At least 6 more wins and competitive in all loses.

Yeah it's just a song
I kinda want the sports teams I support to stick with shite they're supposed to know....like sports. Now if you consider this "going over the edge" fine

First and foremost, consistently field a team that doesn't make continual fundamental mistakes.

I appreciate the context, however it’s important to get further context. While Derrick Mason may only have one coach left from his first year at Vandy, he did not fire two coaches midyear and he did not have one coach quit after being on campus for a month. And I don’t think he had any of his coaches fight players.

He needs to win six games and stop with the emotional speeches after games.
