Checks a lot of boxes.

I did want Clark to be honest, but I like this guy. Took his 2 star team into North and South Carolina and won. Can't give Satterfield credit for that. Works by developing players, exactly our formula for success. I'm happy.

Of the realistic options available, I'm ok with it. Time will tell. I just hope regardless of who it is, we can find some stability and winning with our coaches for a change. Really not a fan of the constant searches.

I wanted Clark too. But I’d rather roll the dice with this guy than the other names Sterk wanted.

Do we have a choice? I hope the guy is a rock star but who knows.

High risk can mean high reward. I'm glad someone wanted to take a chance instead of going with a retread.

Also, the NCAA crap works in his favor. No one will hold the usual crappy first year against him, it'll be the NCAA assholes fault. So he basically gets a whole year to recruit instead of just the next few months.

1. Offensive mind
2. Fundamental football at first blush
3. Develops players and beats teams with more talent
4. Young

Could be worse isn’t flashy. But I’ll Ben hallynwith clean football again and guys who can teach.

he does have HC experience, 1 year in the Sun Belt.

I don't think anyone in my top 3 got asked.

we will see, I want to see the contract. If Sterk gave him a long guarantee and 10 million buyout something serious will have to be done to his genitals

It's not Blake Anderson or someone running the wing-t al that's a good start. Seems to be a good young offensive mind. Up and coming coach. I'll give the hire a B+

I’m good with the pick. I liked none of the 3 previously floated. I hope this guy knows how to recruit.
He knows Xs and Os now we desperately need High rated Jimmys and Joes.

Clark was the white whale of this coach hiring cycle. I don't think he's going to leave the state of Alabama any time soon.

I think all three of the SEC teams at least tried to float the idea by him and he didn't bite for any of us. I would imagine he's waiting for the Auburn job to come open.

I think it'll be a more dynamic offense than what we had under HCBO. That is a win. If we're going to lose, I at least want to make it interesting.

It could turn out to be an amazing hire. It could turn out to be another dud. Do we really have much to lose at this point?

I mean we'll never be as bad as Arkansas.

I don't like it at all all. His name doesn't rhyme with Larry, Gary, or Barry.

Yeah I'm okay with it. Not much history as a HC, but what he has shown, I like a lot. Recruiting is the major topic in my mind moving forward.
