This Pine guy looks awful for beating three ranked teams at Notre Dame.

Moore is OC and QB coach. Drinks problem now is does he have the balls to move on from Moore with Cook leaving and an opportunity for an upgrade in QB play.

I couldn't watch after midway third quarter, did the 3rd string guy play?

I'm ready to see what comes after Cook. He went as far as he could go, and last year was special, but he can go no further. Without Cody Schrader in the backfield to carry the load, Cook is exposed.

This should have been a year to see some transition to Horn, but Horn himself screwed that up. What comes next I've no idea, but the Cook/Drink era needs to end.

The portal can be good to us at QB this year.

Could also be bad if we lose any of the talent we have on O that isn’t NFL bound after this putrid display this season.

Exactly. Pinkel blessed us with a string of QBs. Next up was developed and ready to step in. We knew who the heir apparent was after the season. Cooks gone next year and we have no idea who is next in line. You can get all 5 star receivers you want, but doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have a plan at QB. I will take my chances with a solid QB and 3 star receivers like Alexander, Franklin …

We aren't bad enough to lose alot. Everyone on the team knows Cook is hurt. Mizzou will be attractive and im betting I get my QB NIL email as soon as the last game is over.

They practice with Pyne everyday. They knew it was Cook or bust. I'm actually looking forward to 2025. No Cook, no Burden, gonna miss Wease. 2024 has been Cooks underwhelming play and trying to throw long to Burden even though he hasn't developed a route tree.

2025, there is alot of WR talent and a chance to really upgrade QB talent.

Burden with NFL development and a competent QB is going to demonstrate how retarded the offense staff on this team is.

I understand your sentiment and I agree Moore is terrible. But Burden better get a private coach and work harder than hell.

1. The NFL don't develop, they just draft your replacement.

2. He needs to contact Amon St Brown and do whatever he did to become the same type of player. St. Brown is a great example of using your talent in exactly the proper way.

3. Don't depend on talent alone, everyone has talent in The NFL.

The kid playing QB at Miss. State has some talent and he's going to have to endure a god awful season this year. He's a true freshman and I suspect a little splashing of the cash might lure him up to y'all.

I dont think Van Buren leaves unless MSU makes it clear they will start Shapen in 2025. Otherwise he's the starter in a system he knows. But if he thinks he's going back to the bench behind Shapen, then yes he gone and would be a good fit for us.
