I have been to a few in Lowrents. It’s not for the faint of heart. You have to have a thick skin and a big mouth if you walk into that place.

One game there I went with a friend who wore that black shirt that the front said “kansas sucks” and the back said “and swallows”. That was a good time in the stands that day.

Looks like quite a bit in black and gold at the game

ku coworker said it was a decent MU turnout. I dont know anyone that went who could give a good estimate but late in the game it appeared quite a bit of the east side was MU fans.

You know, I was thinking today about that loss to Troy in 2004. We were ranked 16? 17? and lost by 10 on a Thursday night on ESPN .

loss to Troy

Brad Smith having 46 passing attempts in a game is coaching malpractice. The defense had 3 INTs in that game and Brad gave two of them back plus a fumble.

You know. I was thinking today about the big win over Troy STATE in 2002.

Brad Smith setting a tone as a true freshman. He ran for 130. Threw for 220.

Zach Abron added another 100 on the ground and scored twice giving Mizzou 277 rushing yards.

RJ Jones had three picks on defense. James Kinney added a Pick 6

That Troy State team was loaded and was the unit that put them on the national radar, even though they were a traditional power at the DII & I-AA level for years. Had future Cowboy’s 1st. Rd. pick and PFHOFer Demarcus Ware and he owned our arse that night wherever he lined up. If I recall right they had an additional couple of players that went to the league off that team.

Funny thing is, it is the largest school in the Alabama university system enrollment-wise. It dwarfs Birmingham, Auburn, & Tuscaloosa just doesn’t have the blue blood pedigree.

Go beat Troy, I don't care for them at all !

I dislike them more than trying to plug in a usb cable 3 times before it fits !

( That's right, I said it ! )
