Drink talks on the run game issues I touched on earlier

quote:

Wilson is really struggling blocking OZ right now. He had a least two false starts and is allowing penetration/cant get into the second level. Kansas ran a lot of heavy box but at some point it becomes about whipping the guy across from you. They ran more duo in the second half which helped the run game but if he doesnt improve running stretch, there won't be much butter on the bread.

Texas has allowed 14, and they are #1 in the country

I dont care what texas is or isnt doing at the line of scrimmage.

Missouri has allowed 10 plays to be made behind the LOS on 86 rushing attempts against a FCS team and a Big12 bottom feeder. The starting TB has a rushing grade of 55.4, 4 runs over 10 yds and 1 run over 15 yds on 41 carries. All against weak comp. That isnt good.

Then he's some more information for others who do care.

Mizzou is averaging 40 more rushing yards per game and a half yard more per carry than Texas is averaging.

Navynuke has his fingers in his ears and his hands over his eyes.

He needs to now learn to cover his mouth like the third monkey.

10 of those were courtesy of Ohio State.

If you think Arkansas Pine Bluff or kU is on the level of tOSU defensively, let us know.

To your point, Texas State is an FBS team competing in the new Pac-12 with the #83 ranked team composite. They are a considerably more talented team than Arkansas Peanut Butter.

According to the ESPN box score, 8 of them were courtesy of Texas St.

Nuke, Bass,

I don't think he's interested in facts, just the argument.

Just because two people aren't interested in the facts, that doesn't mean the other 100 people reading the posts aren't interested.

Like the fact Ball St had 6 TFL vs Ohio St.

I see a lot of posts about Hardy. Personally, I don’t think he plays a meaningful snap this year. Robert’s, Edward’s is who we have. Hopefully one other back gets some meaningful snaps. This schedule is more difficult than last few years so hope our OL and RBs start to find their groove. Could be a long SEC season if we are one dimensional.

I agree. A spiral fracture is no joke.

There may be a silver lining in all of this. It may open the door up to making the running game more multiple.
