Which would be ok if his hires didn’t average a C- grade.

If Mizzou offered better contracts Dooley wouldn’t have been the hire.

If you do a search you will find tweets from national writers that specially said that Mizzou had to go pretty far down their list for an OC because of contracts.

Well, people have relationship problems all the time, it's life.

Alright, McElwain has merged as the coaching leader, and the same stuff happened to him in Florida.

The press and gossip = truth these days.

It was obvious that something in the locker room happened after Homecoming.

It was also obvious that AO and KB had beef.

Not saying that means OP's rumor is true, but it fits with the above.

Castillo...Mizzou's center who has entered the NFL draft said near the end of the season that there was some off-field drama going on that was a distraction on the team, but he never elaborated on it.

This is why you don't import players from a thug University like Clemson. Auburn can get away with that because that's what they do. They have the experience. We should have let him go there

Odom let it happen. It's an NFL approach and works when you have a roster of the best players in the world. MU will never have the talent to hope guys get in the right spots. It takes full speed reps, especially on the offensive line. This explains what I watched all year.

Do you know how Pinkel approached practices?

It wasn't the locker room that lead to the losing streak. It was bad OL play and KB stank it up (maybe because of injury). If CB had played, we beat Vandy and Tennessee and BO is still coach.

I just remember Chase Daniel said the practices were brutal back in 2006 and helped shape the team into what it was in 2007, where they continued hard practices and eventually to being the best team Mizzou had ever seen.

As far as Clemson thug players - yeah, sure mate. Kelly Bryant hasn't done anything in his tenure at either college to warrant a statement like that.

Competition everyday. 1s on 1s, Iron sharpens Iron. That was the Don James way.

I doubt it was because of contracts but Odom wanted to hire Freeze and he wasn’t allowed to
